Apple announces iPod touch

Technology. Apple's latest invention is a new iPod with a touch screen much like the iPhone. It has built in Wi-Fi support and Safari for browsing the web. Comes in two models, 8 gb and 16 gb.

Yes, I want one. Do I need one? No. My old iPod Nano (which I use maybe once a month, another reason not to buy a Touch) does the job. Still... I want one. :)

Well put. I suddenly feel that maybe I don't need to wait for that iPhone to arrive here in sweden. I just want the super-portable web anyway :)

I'm definately going to get some device with touch interface. Be it iPod Touch or iPhone. I'm still in favor for the iPhone (that way I can combine a phone and a music player into one) to keep my pockets not overflowing with all kinds of devices :)
